Mr. Salvato has substantial trial experience and has achieved acquittals in several high profile criminal cases. In 2005, Mr. Salvato secured a not guilty verdict in a Federal Death Penalty case in the United States District Court in Alexandria--one of only approximately thirteen such acquittals in the history of the nationwide Federal Death Penalty Act. Not guilty verdicts have been secured before every federal judge currently sitting in the United States District Court in Alexandria.
